The short version

1. Who we are

Grid Central ("we" or "us") is based in New South Wales, Australia. We're responsible for the personal information described here. Contact us at support.gridcentral@gmail.com.

2. What stays on your PC

3. What we collect, and why

WhatWhyWhere it's kept
Account: your email, password, account ID and the date you signed up To sign you in and keep your plan Google Firebase. Firebase stores your password scrambled (hashed), so we can't see it.
Your PCs: a random ID for each PC, and the PC's name as Windows reports it (for example "RACING-PC") So a subscription works on one PC at a time and you can see which one has it, and so the free trial is once per PC Google Firebase
Your plan: plan, end dates, free months, and any beta code you claimed (stored as a fingerprint, with the date) To give you what you paid for Google Firebase
Purchases: Lemon Squeezy's subscription and customer numbers, product, status, renewal and trial dates, quantity, and the email you bought with To match a purchase to your account, and for our business records Google Firebase, written by our payments server on Cloudflare. Lemon Squeezy keeps your name, billing address and payment details under its own privacy policy; we never receive card details.
Race Team: the team's name and owner, its drivers' names and sign-in emails, the seats in use, and the team's private hub room To run the team and give its drivers their seats Google Firebase
Team hub, only while you have it turned on: every 2 seconds while you drive, your iRacing name, car and number, track and session, position, lap times, fuel, incidents, flags and temperatures; the cars around you, with their drivers' names, gaps and lap times; and your engineer's recent radio calls. Also team chat messages, with the name entered on each. So your team can follow your race and talk to you Google Firebase. Anyone with your team link can see it, so share the link only with your team.
Help desk and support: what you send through the help desk at help.gridcentral.store (your answers, your email address and any files you attach, such as companion.log, screenshots or a short video; a companion.log can show your Windows user name and other drivers' names), the ticket's history (our replies, notes and status), and emails you send us To understand the problem or idea, fix Grid Central and reply to you Cloudflare (tickets and files), Resend (the emails with your ticket number and our replies) and Gmail (the support inbox, which also gets a copy of each new ticket)

The help desk form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person is sending it. It looks at your browser and connection.

When we confirm a problem, we may list a short description of it on our public GitHub tracker, written by us, never with your email address, files, or names and file paths from your logs.

4. Signing in with iRacing

If you sign in with iRacing, you do it on iRacing's own page, and we never see your iRacing password. The sign-in is kept only on your PC, encrypted to your Windows account. Grid Central uses it to fetch your results and ratings, which stay on your PC. Signing out cancels the sign-in at iRacing too.

5. Voices
